Weighing the options

Epic's Echo as an alternative to Saga20

Saga20 deletes recordings after processing, like we now do, and speaks more languages. Here is what this tool does differently.

What Saga20 says, in its own words

“Record your session. Saga20 writes the notes, updates your wiki and maps your world.”

    The recording

“Once your session summary is generated, the recording is deleted. We keep voice samples for up to 72 hours (just long enough to recognize who's speaking across sessions), then those go too.”

    Languages

“Saga20 now supports 25 languages including: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, and Polish.”

    What this one does

    • The recording is deleted when the recap finishes. Fourteen days only if your table asks — and there is a button to delete it sooner.
    • We do not promise that your game is kept out of model training. No written contract with our model vendor covers it yet, and we won't print the line before the contract exists.
    • Players are free — recaps, their own chapter and the wiki, without a seat to buy.
    • A quote that can't be matched back to the recording is deleted before you ever see it, and you're told how many went.

Quotes are copied word for word on the date shown, and other people ship changes too. If something here has gone out of date, tell us: the page gets corrected or it comes down.

    Try it on your recording

30 days, and the clock starts at your first upload — not at signup.
