Before you record anything

The hardest part isn't the upload. It's asking four other adults.

So here is the message, already written. Paste it into your group chat and change whatever sounds like me instead of you.

Hey — I'd like to record our sessions so I can keep proper notes: who we met, who owes whom, what's still open. The recording gets turned into a recap and a campaign wiki, and it's deleted as soon as the recap is done. Two things I want to be clear about. Nothing gets published anywhere; it's just for us. And if anyone isn't comfortable, we don't do it — no hard feelings and no follow-up questions. Say yes or no in here whenever you get a minute.

The three things someone will ask

“Is this going to end up online somewhere?”
No. Nothing is published without someone at the table saying so, and there is no public sharing switch that flips by accident.
    “Who can actually see it?”
You, and whoever you name. Private scenes stay with the DM until they pick readers one at a time.
“What if I change my mind later?”
Then you stop — the recording for a session can be deleted, and so can the session. Consent that can't be withdrawn isn't consent.
