The world is ready before the first die drops
Hello adventurers. This one earns the big number. Campaigns can now start with a forged world — factions, places, and hooks generated in your table's language before session one. Locations became an atlas you can zoom, pin, and walk plane by plane. Relationships became a 3D orbit you can spin. Players got a home screen of their own, pasted backstories turn into plot hooks on the DM's board, the audio chronicle opens with a musical intro, and the whole app now installs on your phone and speaks four new languages. A hundred and fourteen changes from a month at the table. Pour the coffee — twice.
Forge a world before session one
Every new campaign starts the same way: a blank page, a session in five days, and a whole world that exists only in your head. World building had been quietly reserved for a handful of DMs. That gate is gone. From New World, a wizard walks you through picking a system and a world-branch, then generates a starter wiki — named factions with goals, locations nested into a real geography, NPC backstories with DM-only secrets — in the language your table plays in. You choose party size and starting level on the way in. While it forges, an illuminated timeline with a drawing-compass sigil replaces the spinner, and it keeps working even if you switch tabs. When you accept the world, GM Prep carries a read-through campaign brief until your first session, and a next-steps note lands in your inbox on day four.
Locations became an atlas
Ten sessions in, every campaign hits the same wall: place names pile up faster than anyone can keep the geography straight, and "wait — where is that again?" starts eating table time. So the Locations tab grew into three views: a zoomable treemap of how your places nest, a map view where you upload an image and drop pins, and the classic list. Maps declare what they show — World map, City, Dungeon — and a place with a child map links straight to it with an "Open … map" button. The atlas groups places by plane — Physical areas, Parallel realms, Vessels — pins glow gold by tier, zoom runs 1× to 5× with drag-to-pan, and a ⌘K shortcut leaps to any location by name. Players see everything, read-only.
Relationships in three dimensions
"How does the harbormaster know the smuggler again?" is the question that stalls a scene while everyone scrolls through old notes. It deserves an answer you can see. The connections map went full-bleed — and gained an Orbit: a rotating 3D starfield of your campaign's characters, factions, and places. Click a sphere to open its dossier and fly the camera to it. Search finds characters even when they're hidden by a filter, chips strip the map to Foe, Ally, Place, or Link edges, and "Only their connections" zooms down to one entity and its direct ties. Up close, nodes reveal type icons and name labels; hovering pauses the rotation so nothing drifts while you look. The mobile cluster list carries the same search and filters.
Players get a home of their own
Players used to sign in to the DM's tool — everything about the campaign, nothing about their hero. Now signing in as a player lands on a home screen built for the table: the chapter so far, a Who's-who snapshot, and your standout dice moments from the last session — each shareable as a card for the group chat. When the DM opens a hidden entity or scene to you, a Secrets card appears; tap any entry to go straight to that wiki page. Players claim their own hero from campaign home, and the DM confirms with a single tap. New visitors now pick their seat on sign-up — Game Master, player, or just looking — and land on the screen that matches.

Backstories become plot hooks
Most character backstories are written once for session zero and never opened again — pages of good material the campaign quietly ignores. Not anymore: paste a written backstory onto a hero's card and choose how much to keep — the app condenses it to a clean summary while the original stays in a collapsible panel. Check "Written in-character" and the summary keeps the character's voice, marked with an "In their own words" badge. Then the good part: the DM's Prep board gains up to three plot hooks rooted in that character's past, each checked against the text before it appears — and generated in your campaign's language. Chosen pronouns now rewrite all of a character's prose — backstory, combat style, traits — within seconds.
Your cast, your terms
A player moves away, a hero retires to run the tavern — and until now the roster's only options were "dead" or "cluttering the list". A character stepping out of the spotlight no longer has to die for it: set them to "inactive" and they stay in the roster with a dimmed card, drop out of new recaps, and come back whenever their player does. The creature-type field now accepts whatever your setting calls things — Space Marine, Void Kraken, T'au Scout — stored precisely, with filter variants grouped automatically. And a hidden wiki entry can now be revealed to just the right players, instead of flipping it visible for the whole table or keeping it sealed.

The audio chronicle earns its stage
A written recap catches you up; a told one brings the night back. That only works if it sounds like a story — so audio recaps now open with a five-second musical intro, duck the score under the narration, and fade out at the end — no more tracks cutting in mid-note. Five new atmospheric beds joined the picker, from the darker Cursed Valley to Blackwater Loop, Drift of Salt Maps, and two Fey Majestic moods — each with a 12-second preview so you hear it before you commit. Generation shows which part it's working on and how far along it is, remembers your voice and style choices between runs, and the music picker is available before your very first recap. When the episode is ready, the session card shows its title, a gold waveform, and the runtime.

Daggerheart, Starfinder 2e — and an Oracle that cites
A rules question mid-combat used to mean someone digging through a PDF while the fight went cold. Now the system answers at the table: Daggerheart games get a Hope & Fear tracker under every recap — crits, net Hope and Fear, and individual move cards, so what happened at the table stays captured. Ask the Oracle a rules question in a Daggerheart campaign and it answers from the official SRD 1.0 — cited and attributed — right alongside your campaign notes. Starfinder Second Edition joins the system list the same way. And the Oracle now searches your uploaded lore too: your own canon, cited next to session recaps, with a pinned World Context block for DMs.
The story reads like a story
Session-by-session recaps tell you what happened last time — but read twelve in a row and you still don't have the campaign's story. Story So Far stopped being a list of what happened and started reading like a chronicle: heroes are introduced when they first matter, acts close on a signature moment and a memorable quote, and the prose flows forward instead of resetting every session. Every character, place, and faction mentioned in the acts timeline is now a live link — hover or tap a name to see the card without leaving the page. And when a recap is regenerated or edited, the whole narrative catches up on its own.
Act II · The Tide Gate
By the time Vess reached the gate, Captain Mora had already sold the tide-charts to the Red Ledger — and the bells of Saltmarsh Docks were ringing for someone else's funeral. "We paid for the truth," the captain said, "not for what it costs."
Epic's Echo goes wherever the table is
The table isn't at a desk: prep happens on the couch, recaps get read on the bus, and the phone is the second screen at every session. So install the app from your browser and it opens in its own window — no address bars, your table's tools one tap away on a phone or tablet. Campaigns moved into a collapsible sidebar on desktop and the hamburger menu on mobile, so the header finally stays put. The app now runs in French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese alongside English, German, and Russian — every label checked against the English source. And a new billing page shows your plan, remaining Echoes, and whether the next session will go through, joined by a 50-Echo pack — the cheapest per-Echo rate in the store.

Under the hood
Half of this release you'll never see directly — you'll just feel it. We repainted the app's foundation: every color now comes from one palette with proper contrast, shadows follow a real depth scale, and the golden buttons finally read cleanly in every corner of the app. Sessions that hit a snag mid-generation now recover themselves without redoing work that already succeeded — no more watching a stuck spinner and wondering. The narrator's engine was upgraded and measured against real sessions before we switched, so recaps come back sharper and more faithful. And the email that tells your table a session is ready got the same reliability pass as everything else: bounces and complaints are honored automatically, and every message carries a working one-click unsubscribe.
Four fixes worth calling out
Tapping ⚑ to flag a correction on an entity card or recap entry had been silently failing since the feature launched — every submission now reaches the DM's review queue. Large Obsidian vault imports no longer crash and lose their extracted entities. A player's edited or DM-confirmed perspective recap now survives Story Sync instead of being quietly replaced. And upgrading your plan mid-cycle no longer returns an error — it just works. Fifty-one more fixes ride along, from smoother map zoom to recaps that survive a table break.
There's far more in this one than fits a post — richer between-session emails with loot and quotes, a Danger Zone so a campaign can't be deleted by accident, smarter duplicate detection in the wiki, and the full list below. We'll see you at the table.
Full changelog (technical)
- BothBench a character without marking them dead
Set a character to "inactive" when they step out of the spotlight. They stay in the roster with a dimmed card, stop appearing in new recaps, and come back to active whenever you're ready.
- BothPaste your character's backstory onto their card
Drop a written backstory into a PC's profile and choose how much to keep. The app condenses it to a clean summary while the original stays in a collapsible panel for reference.
- GMPlot hooks drawn from your player's own backstory
When a player's backstory lands on their hero's card, the DM's Prep board gains up to three hooks rooted in that character's past — each checked against the text before it appears.
- GMName your monsters whatever the setting calls them
The creature-type field now accepts anything you type. Space Marine, Void Kraken, T'au Scout — Epic's Echo stores them precisely and groups filter variants together automatically.
- BothCampaigns live in a sidebar now
Campaign sections and all your campaigns now live in a collapsible sidebar on desktop; on mobile they appear in the hamburger menu. The header height no longer changes as you scroll.
- BothInteractive location atlas for your campaign
The Locations tab gains three views: a zoomable treemap of how your places connect, a map view where the DM can upload an image and drop location pins, and the existing list. Players see everything in read-only.
- BothChosen pronouns now rewrite all character prose
Pick they/them, she/her, or any other pronoun set for a character, and their backstory, combat style, and trait fields update to match within seconds — no page reload needed.
- PlayerBackstory in the character's own voice
Check "Written in-character" when pasting a first-person backstory and the summary keeps the character's voice. An "In their own words" badge marks the result on their card.
- BothYour plan and Echo balance on one page
A new billing page shows every logged-in hero their current plan, remaining Echoes, and whether the next session will go through — no more digging through settings.
- BothBigger Echo top-up pack now in the store
A new 50-Echoes one-time pack joins the four existing options — the cheapest per-Echo rate in the lineup at $79.99.
- GMReveal a wiki entry to just the right players
DMs can now show a hidden wiki entry to specific players at the table, rather than flipping it visible for everyone or keeping it fully hidden.
- BothBetween-session emails packed with session highlights
The weekly catch-up email now includes what your hero looted, notable new faces met, a standout quote, and a chronicle snippet — making the message worth opening.
- BothFrench, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese now live
The app now runs in four new languages, tested against the English source so every label is accurate and feels at home.
- BothAudio recap shows real progress and remembers your settings
The audio chronicle now shows which part it is generating and how far along, so the wait is no longer a black box. Regenerating keeps your voice and style choices from last time — no resetting on every attempt.
- BothRicher player card when your audio recap is ready
Once the chronicle is generated, the session card shows the episode title, a gold waveform, and the runtime — a visual signal that something worth listening to is waiting.
- GMYour atlas gets planes and ⌘K quick-jump
The location atlas groups places by plane — Physical areas, Parallel realms, Vessels — and a ⌘K shortcut leaps to any location by name. Tier and parent edits are now inline, no separate page needed.
- BothWiki cleaned up — settings moved to GM Prep
The wiki's title banner is gone, giving your content more room. Campaign settings — system, layers, entity assignments — have a dedicated spot inside GM Prep.
- BothStory So Far now unfolds like a real narrative
Heroes are introduced, acts close on signature moments and a memorable quote, and the prose flows forward — no more reading a list of what happened last session.
- BothAudio recaps open with a cinematic music intro
Your audio chronicle now starts with a five-second musical intro, the score steps back under the narration, and fades out at the end — the track no longer cuts in or out abruptly.
- BothEntity names in the acts timeline are now tappable
Characters, locations, and factions mentioned in your story acts are now live links — hover or tap any name to see their entity card without leaving the page.
- BothRussian story prose no longer over-capitalises
Descriptive venue and room names in Russian campaigns now appear in sentence case, not Title Case. Room descriptions also stop reading as item lists — both quirks are fixed at generation time.
- BothExplore the atlas with zoom and pan
Scroll or use the + / − controls to zoom 1× to 5×, drag to explore, and hit Fit to snap back to the full map. Pins stay crisp at any zoom and now glow by tier — gold for key locations, slate for others.
- GMAtlas tools are easier to reach and use
The Cartographer toggle now floats in-frame so it stays reachable on mobile. Tap a new spot on the map to reposition a pending pin before placing it. Tier-gate warnings come as a toast instead of a hard block.
- BothCampaign danger zone and session headings
Deleting a campaign now lives behind a Danger Zone in GM Prep Settings with a confirm step so it can't happen by accident. Session cards show a "Session N" heading, and the mobile swipe-hint overlay is removed.
- BothMaps now show their scale, and place pages link to their map
The map switcher badges each map with its type — World map, City, Dungeon. A location page with a child map gets an "Open … map" link to jump straight to it.
- GMSet the scale of any map — or change it later
Every map now asks "What is this a map of?" on upload so it starts as a world or city map from day one. A "Change level" button on existing maps lets you reassign any map to a different place at any time.
- BothBlog pages now link to Pricing and Discord
The blog no longer ends at the last paragraph — every post and the listing page now carry a footer with links to Pricing and the community Discord.
- BothHope & Fear tracker in every Daggerheart session
A new panel appears below the recap: counters for crits, Hope and Fear net, and individual move cards so what happened at the table stays captured while you play.
- GMOracle answers Daggerheart rules, cited from the SRD
Ask the Oracle a rules question in a Daggerheart campaign and it draws from the official SRD 1.0 — answer cited, source attributed — right alongside your campaign notes.
- BothNew music track and previews for your audio chronicle
Choose between the adventure score and the new Cursed Valley bed — a darker, more ominous tone for intense sessions. Tap the play icon on any option to hear it before your chronicle generates.
- BothEpic's Echo can now be installed on your device
Add the app to your phone or tablet's home screen from your browser — it opens in its own window without address bars, so your table's tools are always a tap away.
- BothFour new music tracks for your audio chronicle
Four atmospheric tracks — Blackwater Loop, Drift of Salt Maps, and two Fey Majestic moods — are now available in the music picker with 12-second previews to hear before your chronicle generates.
- BothOracle searches your uploaded lore for answers
Upload your world lore and the Oracle can now answer questions from it — citing your own canon notes alongside session recaps. GMs also get a pinned World Context block in chat.
- GMCreate a world before your first session
A new wizard walks a GM through picking a system and world-branch, then generates a starter wiki with named factions, locations, and hooks — in the language your table plays in.
- GMStarfinder 2e at your table
Starfinder Second Edition is now a full campaign system: select it from the system list, and the Oracle draws on its SRD when players ask rules questions.
- GMThe connections map goes full-bleed
Relationship graphs now take over the full display with a floating toolbar, adjustable node physics, live simulation, and a Fit to View button.
- PlayerPlayers have a home screen now
A new home screen shows a chapter recap, a Who's-who snapshot, quick-entry shortcuts for the current campaign, and optional new-session notifications.
- PlayerDice moments on your player home
Your standout rolls from the last session now appear on your home screen. Tap the share button on any moment to generate a shareable card for your group chat.
- PlayerSee the secrets the DM opens to you
When the DM shares a hidden entity or scene with you, a Secrets card appears on your player home. Tap any named entry to go straight to that wiki page.
- Both3D Orbit view for the connections map
Switch to Orbit on the connections map for a rotating 3D starfield of your campaign's entities and relationships. Click any sphere to open its dossier and fly the camera to it.
- BothCleaner session pages for players and DM
Players now see only sections with content — no empty placeholders. The DM sees a one-line stub wherever a section is blank, with a shortcut to add the first entry.
- GMCampaign brief and return email after world creation
After accepting a generated world, GM Prep shows a read-through campaign brief until your first session. You also get a return email with next steps on day four.
- GMFocus and declutter on the connections map
Hide background characters to clear the 3D graph, or open any dossier and tap "Only their connections" to zoom the map down to just that entity and its direct links.
- GMWorld seeds arrive with backstory and a place hierarchy
NPCs and factions come with goals and DM-only secrets. Locations nest into a geography visible in the Atlas, and you can now pick party size and starting level during world creation.
- BothPlayers pick their own hero, DM confirms in one tap
Players can claim their character from the campaign home at any time. The DM sees a pending badge in the member list and unlocks their recap and prep with a single tap.
- GMWorld creation screen gets an atmospheric new look
While your world forges, you now see an illuminated timeline, a drawing compass sigil, and drifting embers instead of spinning dots. Works in both light and dark themes.
- GMConnection lines are thinner; hover pauses the orbit
Edges between entities are now drawn as clean lines instead of thick tubes, keeping the graph readable as you zoom. Hovering pauses auto-rotation so nodes stop drifting while you examine them.
- BothOrbit nodes show type icons and names up close
Zoom into the 3D entity map and each node reveals its type icon and a name label — characters, locations, and factions are now distinguishable at a glance without opening their dossier.
- PlayerCampaign story on your player home
Your campaign's running chronicle now has a card right on the player home screen — tap through to the full story before the session starts.
- GMSearch and filter the connections map
Type a name or pick an entity type and the bubble map highlights your matches — no more opening every cluster to find one character.
- GMSearch reveals hidden nodes in Orbit
Finding a character hidden by a type filter or sitting in a different cluster now selects them and moves the camera there — instead of doing nothing.
- GMFilter connections by relationship type
New chips let you hide Foe, Ally, Place, or Link edges in one tap — strip the map down to what you need to see for this conversation.
- GMConnections search and filters on mobile
The mobile cluster list now has the same name search and type-filter chips as the desktop map — find any character without expanding every card.
- GMWorld building reaches every GM
Worlds had been quietly reserved for a handful of GMs behind a private gate. That restriction is removed — build a world, forge places and factions, and wire it to sessions from day one.
- BothLive progress as your chronicle is prepared
The in-progress session card now shows a step-by-step progress tracker with a countdown to when your chronicle will be ready, and a warning if any stage is running slow.
- BothLong-session recaps now cover the downtime arc too
Scenes after a table break — the post-battle wind-down, downtime activities, final character moments — were sometimes missing from the chronicle. Echo now reads more carefully so these beats are captured.
- GMRegenerating your recap can't shorten it
A refreshed chronicle is measured against the one it would replace — if the new version covers less ground, Echo keeps the better recap and retries before giving up.
- GMStart a New World from Your Phone
DMs can now open the world creation form from the mobile menu — no need to swap to a desktop to kick off your next campaign world.
- BothPick Your Seat at the Table on Sign-Up
New visitors now say whether they're a Game Master, a player, or just here to look — and land straight on the screen that matches.
- BothHero-trial banner now shows your remaining Echoes
The trial badge now reads how many Echoes you have left instead of a session counter that was always empty for Hero plans.
- BothMusic track now available before your first recap
The music picker appears in the initial audio setup panel, so your first generation plays with a track rather than running silent.
- BothQuick edits no longer corrupt entity text
A metadata-only save (tags, status, type) now sends only the changed fields. The bug that occasionally wrote an entity description fifteen times over itself is fixed.
- Both"Previously On" shows the right session number
Pasting a backstory no longer counts as a session. The GM Prep eyebrow and Story-So-Far narration now skip imports and show your real session history.
- BothFirst recap email correctly counts your characters
The first-session celebration email now reports the right number of characters, places, and items — it was sometimes reading zero despite a successful session.
- BothPricing page trimmed and Best Value badge corrected
The Best Value label now sits on the 50-Echoes pack (the cheapest per Echo), and old session-pack bundles that no longer apply to the Hero plan are cleared from the shop.
- BothStory Sync spinner clears as soon as regeneration finishes
The "regenerating" spinner sometimes stayed on screen after a long Story Sync finished, requiring a full page refresh to dismiss. The spinner now clears reliably when the session completes.
- BothBackstory hooks now match your campaign's language
Pasting a hero's backstory in a non-English campaign now generates hooks in that campaign's language. Previously the app defaulted to English regardless of your table's setting.
- BothRecording mishears no longer replace a character's true name
If the recording mishears a character's name, that garbled form is now blocked from becoming the character's displayed name. Recaps and chronicles always use the name the DM confirmed.
- GMConfirmed location parents now hold against suggestions
When a location has both a DM-confirmed parent and a suggested one, the atlas shows your confirmed relationship — not the latest guess. Your world layout stays where you put it.
- GMThe atlas always shows valid parents when you move a place
The Move dialog and location cards no longer display "No valid parent locations." The picker now checks edges correctly, so you can always nest a region, city, or landmark where it belongs.
- BothAudio recaps keep the same voice all the way through
Russian audio recaps sometimes switched to a different voice mid-recording when the narrator engine needed to warm up. The engine now preloads before the first word, so the voice never shifts mid-recap.
- GMDetach a location to root in one click
"Make it a root" in the atlas Move dialog now acts immediately — one click detaches the location, updates the breadcrumb, and closes the dialog. A second "Move" click is no longer needed.
- BothUpload queue and Hero balance both fixed
A blocked batch upload now shows an amber reason instead of a silent greyed-out button. Hero-tier players now see their real Echo balance in Tokens & Limits, not a zero-on-zero counter.
- BothVessel names stay visible in the plane switcher
A vessel's name now sits on its own line above the "currently in …" note — a long parent name can no longer crowd it out of view.
- BothMap scroll-to-zoom is now smooth and gradual
Zooming with a scroll wheel or trackpad no longer slams to maximum in one flick — the step now tracks your scroll distance for a steady, controlled feel.
- GMLong location names no longer overflow the pin-search popup
When linking a pin to a place, a long name now trims with an ellipsis and the match score stays readable alongside it.
- GMConfirmed private scenes now re-check the recap
After you confirm a scene as private, the chronicle re-evaluates within seconds. If a leak is found, a Regenerate Recap button appears — no manual reload needed.
- BothStory So Far stays current after recap changes
When a recap is regenerated or edited, the campaign's Story So Far section now updates automatically. No manual refresh needed to see the new narrative.
- BothRecap failures no longer hide a delivered session
If recap regeneration fails after you've already received a recap, the session stays visible in your list and its page remains accessible.
- GMSmarter duplicate detection in the wiki
The Potential Duplicates panel now compares only the distinctive part of each name, so systematic naming schemes — Seven Pillars, noble houses, Temple-of-X factions — no longer trigger false alerts.
- GMVault imports no longer crash and lose your entities
Large Obsidian vault imports that took more than a minute to extract entities were silently failing and losing the extracted wiki entries. They now complete reliably.
- BothCollapsed sidebar shows your campaigns clearly
When the sidebar is collapsed to its icon rail, each campaign is now identified by its initial letter on a gold tile — and the brand monogram replaces the clipped wordmark.
- GMPlayer recap edits now stick after a Story Sync
When a player's perspective recap had been edited or confirmed by the DM, a Story Sync pass was silently replacing it with a freshly generated version. Those edits now survive every resync.
- GMHook edits and resolutions survive recap regeneration
Editing a hook's description or marking it resolved now leaves a permanent record. When the recap is regenerated, those DM changes are preserved rather than silently replaced.
- BothMulti-file uploads that stall now self-heal
When a multi-file upload stalled and showed an endless spinner, those sessions would never complete. The app now detects and retries stalled uploads automatically so your recordings arrive.
- BothBatch uploads now confirm reliably
Two race-condition bugs meant parallel confirms could stall a batch forever, or let a failed upload appear confirmed. Both paths are fixed.
- BothPlan upgrades mid-cycle no longer return an error
Switching from Apprentice to Hero — or any plan upgrade partway through a billing period — was returning a 502. It works now.
- GMWorld entry actions now stick on first try
Confirming, rejecting, or creating a world entry from the review queue could toast success but leave the row in place. The action now commits before the response returns.
- PlayerSession-ready banner now dismissable by players
The X button on the "Your session is ready!" hint was silent for players. It now dismisses the banner and remembers the choice.
- BothFirst character tab now reachable on small screens
On narrow screens, the character-type filter bar now anchors to the left, keeping the first tab fully visible without having to scroll — no more clipped PC chip.
- BothMulti-file uploads now show per-track progress
Each file in a batch upload now has its own progress bar so you can see exactly which track is uploading and how far along it is — no more watching a single spinner with no idea which recording is moving.
- BothLore uploads feed World Context, not your session story
Backstory files and vault imports now appear in a World Context block in Story So Far, not as played sessions. A Prologue label marks campaigns where you've uploaded lore but haven't played your first session yet.
- BothRecaps cover the full session, breaks and all
Sessions that took a table break mid-way no longer produce recaps that stop at the intermission — everything that happened in the second half is captured too.
- GMGenesis: language, stuck runs, and done screen
Campaign generation no longer stalls on long generation steps, the Done screen opens the wiki and shows "Copy pack" as expected, and non-English campaigns generate correctly.
- PlayerPlayer home: audio, layout, and duplicate content
The Listen button now loads the audio recap, the quick-entry row fits narrow phones, and the Who's-who card no longer repeats the chapter summary.
- BothFull phone menu now scrollable
The hamburger menu scrolls to reach Sign Out and Notifications, and the audio mini-player no longer covers the last row of content.
- GMTap a node, see the dossier
Selecting a node on the connections graph now pans it into view instead of hiding it behind the floating dossier; the cluster panel respects the side inset.
- BothSettings no longer activates Sessions in the nav
Opening account or notification settings no longer wrongly highlights Sessions in the sidebar.
- BothFlag submissions now reach the DM
Tapping ⚑ on an entity card or recap entry now sends the correction to the DM for review. A path error meant every submission had silently failed since the feature launched.
- GMQuota limit now tells you when it resets
Hitting the campaign-creation monthly limit now shows the exact reset date. The world-spark field in campaign setup also has a live example hint instead of just "optional".
- GMWorld creation survives overlapping place and world names
If your world, a region, and the MacGuffin happened to share a similar name, the whole campaign would fail. Overlapping geography names now merge gracefully instead of blocking generation.
- GMWiki card visibility fits into one chip
Sharing a wiki entry with specific players no longer splays the card action bar across two or three rows — the visibility state lives in a single chip that opens a clean player picker.
- BothSubscription dates show the right day everywhere
Your plan's renewal date no longer shifts back a day for players in the Americas or other negative-offset time zones — the correct calendar day now shows in every location.
- BothOrbit holds your zoom when you hover over nodes
Hovering over a node in the Orbit map no longer snaps the camera back out to fit-all — your zoom level and position stay until you reset them yourself.
- BothOrbit recovers itself after an app update
After a deploy, the Orbit view could get stuck on «unavailable offline» with a Retry that never worked. It now detects the stale load and reloads the page automatically.
- BothConnections map holds its view when you expand a group
Collapsing or expanding a cluster in the 2D connections map no longer snaps the camera to a corner — your position stays where you had it.
- GMWorld Forging keeps running in a background tab
The world-creation Forging screen now polls for results even when you switch to another tab or app — no more returning to find it frozen mid-cast.
- GMType-filter counts are unambiguous
The count beside each connections-map filter chip is now in brackets — so it reads as a tally, not as if there's a character numbered "29".
- GMQuote speaker dropdown shows all options
When re-assigning a quote to a different character, the speaker picker now shows the full cast — not just the person already credited.
- BothApp header no longer clips under the iPhone status bar
When the app is installed on an iPhone, the sticky header was sitting behind the iOS status bar — the logo was cut off and the hamburger menu was untappable. It now sits cleanly below the notch.
- GMWorld Forging now opens for everyone
After opening to all GMs, the Forging page was turning everyone away on arrival. The closing step also had a dead end. Both are now fixed — the full setup runs start to finish for every table.
- BothPush notification sign-up no longer jams
Agreeing to table notifications could leave the opt-in frozen, with the banner locked and no way to dismiss it. The fix detects the stall and clears it before your next visit.
- GMWorlds now appear in the phone menu
A Worlds section appears above your campaigns in the mobile menu. Tap any world to reach its hub, review queue, and linked campaigns — without needing to know the URL.
- GMReorder Sessions Without Burning Credits
Rearranging your session log no longer charges story syncs or fakes a rewrite — affected recaps now refresh automatically in the background.
